LaVerne Scheetz started her career with
Diseroad and Wolff Architects in Hatfield, Pennsylvania
(1976-1980). During this time, her responsibilities included:
Interior space planning and design; client presentations and
consultations; consultations with contractors and
sub-contractors, office and job site; supervision of furnishings
and materials installations; participation in job meetings with
clients and contractors; preparation of architectural drawings
including site plans, floor plans, elevations, cross sections,
details, etc.; interpretation of architectural specifications
for all

finishes; selection and coordination of
interior and exterior finishes; feasibility studies and budget
coordination.
Based on her broad experience, she started LMS
INTERIORS in 1980 in order to provide personalized, affordable
decorating services to her clientele. Current projects include
space planning and furniture layout, window treatment design, furniture and accessory coordination
and installation, consultations regarding artwork, and ordering
and installation of same.
In addition, she offers decorating seminars and workshops and
has taught a non-credit decorating course at Montgomery County
Community College.
LaVerne received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from
Arcadia University, Glenside, Pennsylvania, where she majored in Interior
Design.
